Spyrex™ Impact

Spyrex™ Impact is a modified acrylic sheet with high impact resistance. This robust, transparent and highly weather-proof material is the ideal solution for many outdoor applications and presents a very cost effective alternative to polycarbonate. Spyrex™ Impact is as easy to process as standard acrylic sheet and can be supplied with various degrees of impact resistance.

Typical applications:

Protective enclosures for machines and heavy equipment, protective barriers in sports facilities and outdoor signage.

• Thicknesses 2-10 mm
• Colors:
  • Clear transparent
  • Opal white (with 30%, 50% or 70% light transmission)
  • Transparent bronze
  • Transparent grey
  • Other colors available on request
• Impact resistances:
  • 25% (30 J/m)
  • 50% (51 J/m)
  • 100% (64 J/m)
• Standard dimensions: 2050 x 3050 mm, 1250mm x 2050mm, sheet length up to 6m
• Other dimensions can be quoted on request

• Length and Width: -0 / + 3%
• Thickness: +/- 5%
• Packing: sheets are covered on both sides with PE protective film
